Personal Notes

I collected this piece personally during its official release at Wat Lahan Rai in 2558 BE. It has remained carefully kept for more than a decade before being framed and offered again.

Over the years, this model has been one of the more approachable ways for collectors to enter the Wat Lahan Rai lineage. I have sold it consistently and received encouraging feedback, especially from wearers who wanted a properly temple-made Khun Paen with traditional material content at an affordable level.

Summary

This is the Khun Paen Pong Plai Guman edition blessed at Wat Lahan Rai in 2558 BE (2015), under Luang Phor Sin, a direct disciple of the late Luang Phor Tim. It follows the temple’s established Khun Paen tradition, combining Pong Plai Guman with a meaningful quantity of older sacred powders connected to LP Tim’s lineage.

It is a grounded, wearable piece for those who value temple heritage, traditional consecration, and a practical daily amulet.

Historical Background

Wat Lahan Rai is closely associated with Luang Phor Tim, whose Khun Paen and Pong Plai Guman creations remain highly respected among Thai amulet collectors. His methods placed importance on correct materials, proper ritual preparation, and consecration carried out with meditative discipline.

Luang Phor Sin and Luang Phor Sakorn were both recognised inheritors of this spiritual line. This 2558 batch was produced within that continuing Wat Lahan Rai tradition, allowing a newer generation of devotees to access its blessings.

Origins of the Materials

The central material is Pong Plai Guman, prepared according to the traditional style associated with Wat Lahan Rai. This batch also contains a good amount of older sacred powders from LP Tim’s era, incorporated to connect the amulet with the temple’s earlier blessing heritage.

For collectors, these older powder elements are meaningful not merely because of age, but because they represent continuity: materials preserved from an earlier master and respectfully carried into a later consecration.

Ritual

The batch was consecrated at Wat Lahan Rai under Luang Phor Sin’s guidance, following the temple’s established ritual discipline.

A simple traditional invocation associated with LP Tim’s Khun Paen lineage is:

“Suk Na Mo Lo”

It may be recited calmly before wearing the amulet, before meeting clients, or when seeking composure and support during important conversations.

Blessings and Effects

Traditionally, Khun Paen Pong Plai Guman is sought for:

  • Metta Mahaniyom — warmth, goodwill, and personal appeal

  • Choke Larp — opportunities, favourable outcomes, and prosperity

  • Klaew Klaad — smoother journeys and avoidance of unnecessary obstacles

  • Confidence in communication, networking, and relationship-building

Feedback over more than ten years has been positive, particularly from wearers who appreciate its balanced support in daily work, sales, social interactions, and general luck.

Modern Application

This is an easy piece for someone starting a serious Wat Lahan Rai collection, as well as for experienced collectors who prefer a traditional temple-made Khun Paen for regular wear.

It suits salespeople, business owners, service professionals, and anyone who regularly meets new people or depends on trust and communication. Its appeal is that it carries established lineage without requiring a collector to begin at the highest price levels.
