This is one of the Pim Jiw amulets created by Luang Pu Si Chantasiri, the 128-year-old forest monk of seven reigns. At only around 1 cm in size, these miniature pieces were favored by ladies, children, and devotees who preferred something light and simple to wear. Despite their small size, Pim Jiw carry the full spiritual weight of Luang Pu Si’s cultivation, making them both practical and highly respected among his followers.
Made from Pong Serm Baramee
The material used is Pong Serm Baramee—sacred powder created with the purpose of increasing baramee (spiritual merit, authority, and influence). Luang Pu Si often reminded his disciples that baramee was the foundation upon which wealth, attraction, and personal magnetism could flourish. By strengthening baramee first, all other blessings naturally followed. For this reason, the Pim Jiw was especially popular for boosting charm, support, and prosperity in daily life.
The Traditional Process
True to his disciplined forest monk practice, Luang Pu Si followed a traditional and painstaking method for preparing these powders. He would draw yantra with chalk on a blackboard while chanting sacred formulas. After the yantra were complete, the chalk dust and powders were carefully wiped off and collected. These powders, infused with the vibrations of chanting, were then pressed into the Pim Jiw molds. Each step was intentional, ensuring that the amulets carried not only physical material but also the energetic essence of his wicha.
Simplicity with Essence
While larger and heavier amulets often draw attention, the Pim Jiw embodies humility and subtle strength, much like Luang Pu Si himself. Small enough to be worn discreetly, yet carrying the essence of baramee and blessing, they are ideal for those who prefer a quiet but powerful spiritual presence. Each piece, wrapped in silver, becomes not only a sacred object but also a lasting token of one of Thailand’s most extraordinary monks.
