Khun Paen Phong Prai Guman

Luang Por Sakorn, Wat Nong Grub

First Edition • B.E. 2530 (1987) • Large Pim • Copper Takrut • Gold Casing

Personal Notes

I have dealt in Luang Por Sakorn amulets for over 20 years and have always held deep respect for his Khun Paen lineage. I was fortunate to meet Luang Por Sakorn personally in B.E. 2548.

The sacred Phong Prai Guman used in this first edition was received from Luang Pu Tim. Luang Por Sakorn himself also mastered the ritual knowledge of enlivening the Prai Guman essence—a quality traditionally believed to give the wearer a gentle, childlike metta: approachable, naturally endearing, and well received by others. It is also widely respected for supporting wealth through career and business.

Summary

This is Luang Por Sakorn’s highly regarded first-edition Khun Paen from B.E. 2530, in the Large Pim with an embedded Copper Takrut Sarika. It is an important early piece for collectors and devotees of the Wat Lahan Rai–Wat Nong Grub lineage.

Historical Background

Luang Por Sakorn of Wat Nong Grub was a close disciple of the revered Luang Pu Tim of Wat Lahan Rai. From a young age, he pursued traditional medicine and sacred knowledge, regularly travelling to Lahan Rai to study and serve his master.

Through this close relationship, he received Luang Pu Tim’s teachings, ritual knowledge, and sacred Phong Prai Guman powder. He furthered his studies under Luang Por Peng of Wat Lahan Yai, Luang Pu Hin of Wat Nong Sanom, and other respected masters of the old tradition.

Origins of the Materials

The principal material is sacred Phong Prai Guman received from Luang Pu Tim, blended with Phong Pathamang, Metta Noi, Metta Yai, Phong Na Mo, Jindamanee, Phra Chao Ha Phra Ong powder, Phong Udom, Phong Ittije, auspicious mistletoe, and selected sacred herbs.

Ritual

The reverse bears the Yant Na Ok Taek and an embedded Copper Takrut Sarika. This traditional pairing represents Luang Por Sakorn’s established Khun Paen ritual lineage, centred on metta, seneh, and favourable human connection.
