The Samakkhi Mee Suk – Gu Phu Chana medal with the Maha Pichai Songkram victory flag was first issued at Wat Tha Sung in 2521 (1978) under Luang Phor Ruesi Ling Dam. The design features King Taksin on horseback on the reverse, symbolizing triumph against overwhelming odds, while the yantra carries the essence of ancient battlefield blessings from the Phra Ruang tradition.
Luang Phor emphasized that the war flag was not sorcery but Buddhist science, ensuring protection and prosperity when used correctly. Soldiers and police units were among the first groups to wear this piece, and accounts of surviving gunfire and battlefield dangers cemented its reputation for invulnerability.
In the 1990s, the medal and yantra were widely worn by devotees, especially those working in risky environments. At that time, it was respected but still circulated quietly among those who sought protection. By the late 2000s, collectors began to pay closer attention.
The depth of Luang Phor’s ritual knowledge, combined with the historical symbolism of King Taksin, led to a steady increase in recognition. Over the last decade, this amulet has crossed into mainstream popularity. It is now pursued by collectors across Thailand, Singapore, and Malaysia, and many high-profile figures and celebrities attribute both their financial stability and career breakthroughs to the blessings of this piece. From the slums to the spotlight, it has become one of Luang Phor’s most recognized works.
The Samakkhi Mee Suk medal remains valued for its dual functions: protective power against harm and misfortune, and the attraction of wealth, opportunities, and enduring baramee. Its reputation continues to grow as both a historical relic of Luang Phor’s lineage and a living force of blessings in modern life.
