LP Prom Wat Paranupat – Master of Tao Wessuwan

Luang Phor Prom of Wat Paranupat was widely respected for his deep meditative practice, long years of ascetic cultivation, and his special affinity with Tao Wessuwan. Among the many deities within Thai Buddhist cosmology, Tao Wessuwan stood as his personal tutelary figure—guardian of the northern quarter, commander of yaksha hosts, and a fierce defender against all forms of spiritual harm. It is no surprise that Tao Wessuwan became the signature image in many of LP Prom’s amulets, representing his own spiritual alignment and the blessings he sought to pass on to devotees.

The 2554 Tao Wessuwan Powder Amulet

Released in the same batch as LP Thuat amulets of 2554 (2011), this powder-based Tao Wessuwan carries the same sacred material composition and layered consecration. The amulet was made from sacred powders mixed with relics, each component selected for both ritual and spiritual resonance. On the reverse are Sivali relics, invoking the blessings of wealth, good fortune, and the unending flow of necessities in life. This combination highlights LP Prom’s balance of protection and prosperity within a single talisman.

Iconography and Materials

  • Front: Tao Wessuwan, rendered in classic yaksha form, holding his club firmly, symbolizing the defense against spirits, danger, and misfortune. As the primary deity of LP Prom’s practice, this front imagery directly channels his meditative focus and personal invocation.

  • Back: Embedded with Sivali relics, an auspicious inclusion ensuring blessings of metta, abundance, and travel luck. Sivali is revered as the saint of unending requisites, whose presence guarantees the flow of food, wealth, and support.

  • Powder Base: The same mixture used across the 2554 series, incorporating sacred temple powders, herbs, and relic fragments.

Blessings and Effects

  • Guardian Protection: Tao Wessuwan safeguards against black magic, malevolent spirits, and hostile intentions.

  • Wealth and Fortune: Sivali relics on the reverse grant continual blessings of prosperity and life support.

  • Authority and Baramee: Tao Wessuwan’s presence ensures authority and command, respected by both humans and unseen beings.

  • Travel Safety: Both Tao Wessuwan and Sivali are known for their protective force during journeys, making this amulet especially suitable for travelers and businesspeople.

Value and Significance

This amulet represents the heart of LP Prom’s spiritual lineage—his personal devotion to Tao Wessuwan fused with the wealth-drawing blessings of Sivali. While other models in the 2554 batch bore LP Thuat on the front, this piece highlights LP Prom’s signature deity, making it highly desirable for devotees of Tao Wessuwan and collectors seeking direct alignment with LP Prom’s personal practice.

The union of guardian force and wealth attraction within one amulet makes it a complete talisman—an anchor of protection, prosperity, and authority for its bearer.
