Summary
Acquired directly from Arjan Tau, a forest master and disciple of Luang Phor Pinak, during a chance reunion in Chiang Mai after more than a decade. This Dao Nur Hom — star-shaped relic — was the only piece he carried during his tudong meditation journey, used for focus and energy stabilization. Containing authentic nur hom relics from a revered nun, this is a barang-class artifact known for wealth attraction and strong meditative resonance. Framed in silver, it carries the weight of both lineage and lived spiritual practice.
Historical Background
During a recent visit to Chiang Mai, a coincidental meeting took place at a forest monastery between me and Arjan Tau, who was then on tudong with a monk known to both parties. It had been more than twelve years since their last encounter, yet mutual recognition came easily — forged through shared discussions on meditation, elemental wiccha, and the balance between mind and matter.
Before parting ways, I asked whether the master had any items available for disciples or practitioners. Arjan Tau laughed, noting that I had not changed: still driven by curiosity and reverence for rare spiritual objects. From his small bundle, he produced this single Dao Nur Hom, saying it was the only object he had brought along for meditation during the journey and that he would part with it as a gesture of long friendship.
Origins of the Material
The Dao Nur Hom was crafted using relic material known as nur hom a sacred "relic" substance from the famed forest nuns. In this case, it was the relic matter of a highly venerated nun who had dedicated her body and practice toward the making of merit-bearing amulets. Such barang-type relics are regarded as highly charged, possessing both yin nurturing qualities and baramee arising from renunciation and purity of life.
The distinctive five-point star pattern (dao, meaning “star”) symbolizes cosmic alignment and divine favor, often representing the unity of the Five Elements within the body and mind as well as the 5 Names of the Buddha Na Mo Pu Ta Ya.
Ritual
This particular piece was made for use during meditation and wiccha focus, rather than public distribution. It was personally kept by Arjan Tau during his tudong journey, absorbing both forest energy and continuous mantra recitations. As he explained, Dao Nur Hom serves as a stabilizer for deep focus, anchoring wandering thoughts while amplifying one’s intuitive field.
After receiving the piece, it was later encased in hand-crafted silver for protection and preservation — now made available for practitioners who understand and respect its spiritual weight.
Blessings and Effects
The Dao Nur Hom is known for its dual properties: meditative stillness and material prosperity.
Its blessings include:
-
Clarity and Concentration – Enhances inner stability during meditation or prayer.
-
Wealth and Luck – Associated with consistent fortune and auspicious gains, including lottery luck, a phenomenon often reported by long-time customers of mine.
-
Energy Alignment – Balances internal elements, improving intuitive decision-making and timing.
-
Spiritual Continuity – Connects the practitioner to the lineage of nuns and forest masters who cultivated this wiccha through hardship and purity.
Since 2009, Dao Nur Hom amulets have held a strong reputation among northern collectors for their tangible results in both fortune and spiritual awareness.
Modern Application
Ideal for practitioners seeking focus, fortune, and field alignment. It is equally suitable for meditators, business owners, and spiritual collectors who appreciate pieces bridging both material and transcendental aspects.
Its calm yet potent energy makes it easy to carry daily a rare balance between barang potency and meditative peace.
Physical Details
The Dao Nur Hom measures approximately 1 inch across and features a star imprint on its front surface, with subtle relic texture visible beneath the patina. The back remains untouched, preserving the raw integrity of the relic. Each is mounted in custom silver casing, accentuating its simplicity.
