This special Somdej variant was crafted during the B.E. 2538 commemorative ceremony celebrating 700 years of Chiang Mai’s founding, marking one of the earliest and most respected collaborative batches between Central and Northern Thai spiritual lineages.

Blessed by Luang Phor Koon of Wat Ban Rai, and composed of ancient Lanna-era sacred powders, this piece is elevated further by two rare enhancements:

• A front-facing copper takrut inserted beneath the classic Somdej image

• Sivali relics embedded in the back, lending it strong wish-granting and wealth-fetching resonance

🧱 Sacred Material & Relic Construction

• Main Powder Base:
  Carefully selected from ancient temple ruins and sacred sites in Lamphun province, linked directly to the Phra Rod lineage. These materials date back over 1,300 years, making them among the oldest spiritually active compounds used in modern consecrations.

• Front Takrut:
  A single copper takrut rests visibly below the base of the Buddha image—enhancing the transmission of intent, speech, and metta from the wearer outward. It acts as a spiritual transmitter, amplifying goals or prayers when made with sincerity.

• Back Relics – Phra Sivali:
  Sivali is revered in the Theravāda tradition as an arahant who was never short of resources, protection, or goodwill. By embedding these relics into each piece, the monks aimed to extend his blessings to every wearer, especially in the areas of:

Phase 1 – Wat Ban Rai
Luang Phor Koon received the sacred relic powders and blessed them personally, embedding his metta-karuna vibration into the mix before molding.

Phase 2 – Wat Phra Singh, Chiang Mai
Under full Northern rites, the amulets were chanted over by senior monks of the Kruba Srivichai lineage and other Northern meditation masters. The Lanna-style spiritual anchoring was focused on durability, protection, and long-term merit support.

Phase 3 – Final Blessing by Luang Phor Koon
The completed pieces were returned to Wat Ban Rai for final empowerment. This dual-region consecration process makes the batch unique: Southern metta with Northern structure.
