This amulet may appear simple—but its story is anything but.

In the year B.E. 2534, Luang Phor Kasem of Wat Susantilak (Lampang) was requested to bless a special batch of Prah Prom images under a highly unusual circumstance.

It is documented that Luang Phor Kasem received a direct vision from Luang Phor Du, the legendary meditation master of Wat Sakae, Ayutthaya. In this vision, Lp Du requested Lp Kasem to consecrate these Rians on his behalf, for the sake of his Luksits (disciples) who had missed the opportunity to receive an image of Prah Prom during his lifetime.

This is not a normal occurrence—very few monks possess the spiritual purity and samadhi level necessary to receive such a transmission from another great master through meditative vision.

Why This Rian is Special:

• Luang Phor Kasem, known for his intense forest-dwelling ascetic practices and deep samadhi, is among the rare few masters with the spiritual foundation capable of blessing on behalf of another arahant-level teacher.

• The energy of Lp Du remains potent, to the point that even monks who had never met him—such as Kruba Boonchum and Luang Phor Kasem—have seen him appear in meditation.

  • Initially believing him to be a past master from a bygone era, they were later astonished to meet Luang Phor Du in person during temple ceremonies.

  • This confirmed what many believe: Lp Du’s spiritual body and cultivated mind had transcended time and ordinary perception.

While this batch was made in larger quantities—resulting in modest pricing—the intent was always merit-based, not commercial.
It was Luang Phor Du’s final wish:

"Let all who did not receive the image of Prah Prom in my time receive its blessings still."

And Luang Phor Kasem fulfilled that promise.
