Somdej Pim Lek – Luang Phor Daeng, Wat Khao Bandai It
A highly rare variant of Luang Phor Daeng’s renowned Somdej Pim Lang Yant, this Pim Lek (small mold) was produced in an ultra-limited ratio—only 1 piece for every 100 of the standard-sized Somdej.

Crafted using the same sacred materials and bearing the distinctive yant on the reverse, this smaller format was not intended for general release. Most were either reserved for inner circle devotees or kept within the temple for ceremonial purposes.

Its compact size makes it ideal for daily wear, but its rarity and spiritual weight have made it a prized collector’s piece among seasoned LP Daeng devotees—especially those focused on baramee, metta, and career advancement.

Luang Phor Daeng of Wat Khao Bandai It is widely recognized not only for his strict meditation practice and moral discipline, but also for his significant contributions to Thai amulet history—particularly during wartime and the post-war period.

During the peak of regional conflict and military conscription in the mid-20th century, LP Daeng was regularly approached by the Thai military and special units to consecrate protective amulets for deployed soldiers. His deep vipassana practice and mastery of traditional wiccha led to the creation of high baramee amulets, known for their strong protective and uplifting qualities.

Among his most iconic creations are:

  • Rians (medal amulets) – often featuring his image, these were popular among both soldiers and civilians seeking protection, merit, and status

  • Somdej amulets – built with firm structure and classic Phetchaburi-style sacred powder formulas

Field reports and first-hand accounts noted that soldiers who wore LP Daeng’s amulets consistently returned unharmed, which quickly elevated his reputation across Thailand and beyond. After the war, many of those same wearers transitioned into successful business careers, attributing their protection, decision-making clarity, and charisma to LP Daeng’s blessings.

This caused a rapid spread of his fame throughout Singapore and Malaysia, where veterans and businessmen began actively collecting his amulets. By the 1990s and 2000s, LP Daeng’s items were considered essential pieces in major Southeast Asian collections—especially among those who valued field-proven, wartime-era amulets.

Collectors from this period continue to regard his early Rians, Somdej as high-tier talismans—valued not only for their spiritual potency but also for their strong track record of results across protection, career, and baramee-building.
