Phra Phuttha Chinnarat Cast Medal – Luang Phor Chum, Wat Bang Na Nai, B.E. 2467 (1924)
Wrapped in 80% Gold Frame (FOC)
This is the first and most important batch by Luang Phor Chum of Wat Bang Na Nai, a master known for his meditative strength and command of metal consecration.
Cast in B.E. 2467, the medal was made from sacred alloy created by melting down offerings of bowls, trays, and utensils donated by devotees. The metal is a rich bronze-gold thong phra mixture, dense and heavy with age. The piece follows the traditional looped-top (hu chueam) form, with the reverse inscribed in Khom script “Ma–U–A”, crowned by the Unalome symbol of awakening, and beneath it the yantra “Na Chaliao Phet” for protection, clarity, and strength.
The consecration brought together several great masters of the region including Luang Pu Phueak of Wat King Kaew, Luang Phor But of Wat Bang Pla Kod, Luang Pu Bua of Wat Ruak, and Luang Pu Thong of Wat Ratchayotha, whose combined wicha infused the piece with blessings for invulnerability, fortune, and purification of obstacles.
This medal shares the same sacred lineage as the Phra Chinnarat of Wat Thong Noppakhun (B.E. 2463) and Phra Chinnarat of Wat Khao Takhrao (B.E. 2465)—all cast from the same artistic tradition and spiritual mold of the early Rattanakosin period.
In modern times, this piece is favored by high-ranking government officials, military officers, and business owners who prefer to wear a single amulet that embodies both baramee and power without excessive size or weight. It carries an aura of quiet authority, providing influence, stability, and personal protection while enhancing one’s charm and respect in professional and social environments.
Field experiences passed down over generations describe invulnerability, accident protection, and life-saving blessings. The medal’s Maha Amnaj (commanding aura) draws obedience and confidence, while its Metta Mahaniyom (magnetic goodwill) attracts trust and cooperation.
Now over 90 years old, this piece has the unmistakable character of true age—solid form, fine casting lines, and a deep natural patina. Among the three “twin Chinnarat medals,” the Wat Bang Na Nai issue stands as one of the most practical and balanced for both wearing and collecting.
It is a piece that radiates authority and grace — strong in wicha, refined in form, and enduring in spiritual force.
