Phra Ajahn Anucha Anuchato Wat Pho Ratchaburana

Phra Ajahn Anucha Anuchato is a revered monk from Wat Pho Ratchaburana in Ratchaburi Province, Thailand. Born on August 23, 1964, in Nakhon Pathom Province, he is the eldest of four siblings. At the age of 11, he moved to Ratchaburi to pursue education and became a temple boy at Wat Nong Muang, where he began studying mystical sciences under Luang Pho Sanga.

He was first ordained in 1984 at Wat Nong Pho in Nakhon Pathom, achieving the rank of Nak Tham Tri (third-level Dhamma scholar) before disrobing to assist his mother. On August 10, 2009, he was ordained again at Wat Pho Ratchaburana in Ratchaburi. He pursued advanced Dhamma studies, attaining Nak Tham To and Nak Tham Ek (second and first-level Dhamma scholar) between 2013 and 2015. He also studied mystical sciences under various masters, including Luang Pu Non of Wat Khao Phran Thup and Luang Pho Boonkham of Wat Chaiyaphum.

In 2022, Phra Ajahn Anucha led the creation of the Phra Khun Paen Maha Phrai amulets to raise funds for restoring the ordination hall at Wat Pho Ratchaburana. These amulets were crafted using sacred materials collected from various sources, including old temple bricks, gold leaf from principal Buddha images, incense ash, and relics from renowned monks. Two consecration ceremonies were held on July 13 and July 28, 2022.

The amulets are believed to offer protection, charm, and prosperity to their bearers. Phra Ajahn Anucha personally designed and inscribed the yantras on each amulet, making this batch unique and highly sought after by devotees.
