This Guman’s fame in Singapore and Malaysia can be traced back to a well-known incident from the 1980s, when a group of Singaporean collectors traveled to Wat Ta Jum Pee to receive Guman from Kruba Duang Dee personally.

While descending a mountainous road after their visit, their vehicle lost control and slipped off the edge of a slope, eventually dangling precariously over a cliff. In a moment of panic and disbelief, the passengers saw a child-like figure at the front of the car holding it up.

Realizing they had received a Guman Bucha earlier, one of the men instinctively climbed back into the car and retrieved the statue. The moment he stepped out with the figure in his hands, the car plunged down the ravine and was completely destroyed.

This story spread rapidly in the collector community and marked the beginning of Kruba Duang Dee’s legendary status in Singapore, Malaysia, and across the region. Many attribute their business success and safety to the Guman they received from this master.
