This is a one-off Bobo Aung image, carved from the personal tooth relic of Kruba Dae, a highly revered monk of Wat Win, Myanmar. The story behind this piece is extraordinary.

Many years ago, I personally journeyed into Myanmar during a time of civil conflict, crossing into the region where Kruba Dae resided. Known for his deep meditation practice and prophetic insight, Kruba Dae predicted the exact date his own tooth would fall — a sign he received during meditation. As instructed by his vision, he preserved the tooth and carved it into an image of Bobo Aung, the legendary spirit king of Mt. Popa, from whom Kruba himself descends spiritually.

At the time of my arrival for a simple donation visit, Kruba Dae had just completed chanting and blessing this piece. I was told only one image was ever made, and I was fortunate to be present at the exact moment it was handed over.
