This Guman Thong is part of a limited batch of only 19 pieces, crafted by Arjan Waroot, a respected master known for his compassion-based prai rituals and ethical handling of restless spirits. It is made from Mai Takien—a spiritually responsive wood associated with female guardian spirits and tree deities—but in this case, shaped and awakened in the form of a boy Guman.

🪵 Sacred Materials and Spirit Essence

The wood used is Mai Takien, traditionally used in Thai magic for housing spirits due to its high receptivity to energetic imprinting. It was carved into form, then soaked in Nam Man Prai (NMP) that originated from a kind-hearted child spirit who died in a road accident—a tragedy that left behind not just sorrow, but a lingering force of pure-hearted intention.

According to Arjan Waroot, the child’s name was “Kind” or (Jai Dee) in Thai. The energy of this boy was so naturally warm and generous that his essence remained non-aggressive, non-chaotic, and deeply tuned to helping others.

Rather than binding this spirit in isolation, Arjan Waroot did something rare. He went to a child cemetery, performing a ritual to invite other wandering child spirits who cannot be reborn to join this batch—not to be trapped, but to be given purpose and a path to generate merit.
