Takrut Mai Mongkon with Tao Wessuwan – By Arjan Jit, Luksit of LP Up Wat Tong Sai
Measures 3"
This talisman was crafted by Arjan Jit, a direct disciple of LP Up of Wat Tong Sai and a second-generation lineage holder of LP Kuay. It combines Takrut Mai Mongkon (dragon wood), a lead Takrut of Tao Wessuwan, and Sivali relics, harmonizing three layers of power—auspicious wood, guardian authority, and the supreme blessing of abundance.
Function and Application
The main use of this piece is to be hung above entrances—whether at a shop, residence, or office. Those who pass under it receive its blessing, while individuals with malicious intent feel unsettled and naturally turn away. This makes it a strong household and business guardian. Personally, I hang one above the main door of my home and another above my bedroom door.
For businesses, it repels negativity and enhances charm and baramee, helping owners and staff maintain strong presence and command in negotiations. Several of my clients who are senior executives and business leaders hang one near their office desks, believing it continuously “charges” their baramee. Unlike a battery, baramee cannot be “full”—it accumulates endlessly, and this piece keeps it flowing.
Spiritual Compatibility
Though protective, this Takrut does not block beneficial forces. For those who also keep Kumanthong, Mae Nang, or other barang allies, the Takrut will not repel them. Its function is precise: it expels harm and ill-willed entities while harmonizing with positive forces aligned to the household.
Protective and Practical Effects
I also keep one in my travel pouch, where it acts as a shield against accidents and misfortune. An interesting effect I noticed when placing one in my car was a reduction in parking summons and speeding tickets. While age and more careful driving may play a part, I attribute some of this change to the protective and harmonizing influence of the piece. I later placed one in my father’s car, and he too has avoided accidents and tickets since.
Rarity and Materials
When I first encountered these Takruts in 2014, I acquired several. Over time, most were distributed to others, leaving me with only a handful. The scarcity lies in the material itself: Mai Mongkon wood, which must be sourced from deep forest areas, and the blessing rituals that require both secrecy and high-level knowledge of Wicha. Because of this, new creations of the same strength are nearly impossible today.
Blessings
The combined forces of Mai Mongkon, Tao Wessuwan, and Sivali grant:
-
Protection: Repels spirits, entities, and malicious intent.
 -
Authority and Baramee: Elevates presence and command in business or leadership.
 -
Wealth and Abundance: Sivali’s blessing ensures smooth fortune and opportunity.
 -
Travel Safety: Prevents harm on journeys, both mundane and spiritual.
 -
Practical Fortune: Unexpected ease in daily life, from negotiations to encounters with authority.

This Takrut is a piece designed for long-term guardianship and empowerment—its energy not only shields but also uplifts those living or working under its influence.
