This sacred locket was created in BE 2547 (2004) to mark the 71st birthday of Ajahn Plian Panyapatipo, a highly respected forest meditation master of Wat Aranyawiwek. Known for his deep samadhi and unwavering precepts, Ajahn Plian is revered among practitioners of vipassana and baramee cultivation.

This specific locket was part of a “kamakan batch” — reserved for inner-circle disciples and senior temple patrons. Less than 19 pieces were made in total. What makes this piece especially significant are the sacred items enshrined within:

• Ajahn Plian’s own hair relics

• A Pathat Withat (naga-related relic stone) believed to be linked to ancient naga energies, enhancing charisma, baramee, and unseen protection

• Other personal effects used by Ajahn Plian during his daily practice and meditation

The back of the locket is filled with these blessed materials and sealed meticulously. It is framed in a 90% gold custom casing, done at a well-known goldsmith in Pantip Ngamwongwan, a hub for high-end Thai amulet casing and preservation.
