Roop Tai of Ajahn Plian Panyapatipo (Wat Aranyawiwek)

Consecrated in 2548 BE (2005 CE) | Hand-Framed in Classic Silver

This Roop Tai was created in 2548 BE to commemorate Ajahn Plian Panyapatipo’s 6th Cycle (72nd year) as a monk, marking a deeply significant spiritual milestone. It was blessed at Wat Aranyawiwek, under Ajahn’s close supervision and meditative presence.

Each piece in this batch carries his compassionate field of metta — refined through decades of practice and humble Dhamma living. A year after the initial release, these Roop Tai were framed and reintroduced under the title “Roon Metta” due to growing reports from wearers experiencing:

  • Unexpected acts of kindness

  • Strangers initiating small talk or offering help

  • Increased ease in social environments and interactions

This energetic quality is not by accident, but rather a reflection of Ajahn Plian’s own nature — serene, approachable, and quietly impactful.

🌿 Spiritual Qualities & Personal Blessings

Like many sacred monk images, this Roop Tai is believed to carry wish-fulfilling qualities, especially when the wearer holds a sincere heart and clear intention. However, what makes this piece especially meaningful to many devotees — particularly those in Singapore — is a personal message shared by Ajahn himself during a visit to Wat Palelai in Bedok:

“Whenever you face any difficulty… hold this in your hands and ask for my help.”

These words were spoken not as a grand proclamation, but as a heartfelt reminder that compassion transcends distance — and that Ajahn’s spiritual presence remains accessible to those who seek it with faith.
