Ac Sam / Ac Bed

Ajarn Bed’s foremost disciple, Ajarn Sam, joined by senior masters, disciples and devotees of the lineage, brought this memorial locket into being through a shared offering of time, resources and devotion.

Created to mark the tenth anniversary of Ajarn Bed’s passing, the project took three months of preparation and consecration. Only slightly more than one hundred pieces were made. Ajarn Sam has stated clearly that this is a single commemorative creation and will not be reproduced.

Within each locket is a carefully prepared sacred compound of more than 200 materials. These include fragments of Ajarn Bed’s hair, sacred powders and prayer beads; earth gathered from seven temples, traditional sacred sites and termite mounds; rare Wan ingredients, attraction-blessing aloe oil, Sak Yant ink, one-eyed coconut shell, consecrated powders from more than one hundred Luang Por, ajarns and kruba masters, and fragments of older amulets.

It is a piece made not simply as a memorial, but as a continuation of Ajarn Bed’s living lineage—carrying the prayers, efforts and reverence of those who remain connected to his teachings.
