This batch was organized under the authority of Wat Phra Mahathat and consecrated according to the Srivijaya tradition. The Phutthaphisek ceremony was held on Saturday the 5th, a day of exceptional strength in Thai astrological reckoning.
A central feature of this ceremony was the leadership of Arjan Khun Pan, one of the most respected masters in the field of wicha, who presided over the chanting. Into the sacred mixture were incorporated large quantities of 2497 powders from Ac Chum and Ac Tim, linking this batch directly to two of the most renowned and powerful creators of Luang Phor Thuad amulets in history.
This particular piece also reveals clear traces of lair or lek lai relics, substances of mystical significance collected from the cave at Wat Kao Orr—the birthplace of the Luang Phor Thuad tradition. These inclusions, combined with the sanctity of the ceremony, ensured that the essence of Wat Mahathat was firmly bound into the amulet.
The blessings of this batch emphasize wealth, protection, and baramee (spiritual authority and merit power). Owners of these amulets sought both practical safeguarding in daily life and an enhancement of fortune, while also drawing on the deep baramee of Luang Phor Thuad and the masters involved. This makes the 2548 Saturday 5 (Sao 5) batch a piece of both historical continuity and enduring potency.
