Roop Muen Tao Lit - Luang Pu Plian Panyapatipo of Wat Aranyawiwek

The first edition of the iron-shaped powder amulet, created to honor Luang Pu Plian Panyapatipo of Wat Aranyawiwek (Ban Pong), Inthakhil Subdistrict, Mae Taeng District, Chiang Mai Province, holds immense spiritual significance. This edition was crafted under the guidance of his disciple, Luang Pho Thawan Thanwaro of Wat Pa Heo Hai, Udon Thani Province.

Materials and Composition

The amulets were made using Burmese wood flour combined with over 150 types of sacred herbs, along with relics, hair, and materials associated with seven revered Arahants:

  1. Luang Pu Waen Sujino – Wat Doi Mae Pang
  2. Luang Pu Chob Thansamo – Wat Pa Sammanusorn
  3. Luang Pu On Yanasiri – Wat Pa Nikrodharam
  4. Luang Pu La Khempatto – Wat Phu Chok Ko
  5. Luang Ta Maha Bua Yanasampanno – Wat Pa Ban Tad
  6. Luang Pu Plian Panyapatipo – Wat Aranyawiwek
  7. Additional Arahants, contributing sacred items and relics

Additional sacred materials included black rice from Rad, Phetchabun Province, and Luang Pu Plian’s own hair, which were combined with other powerful items donated by his disciples.

Creation Process

This edition of amulets was pressed in 1999 by monks and novices at Wat Pa Huai Hai. The materials were collected from across Thailand, with contributions from disciples of both Luang Pho Thawan and Luang Pu Plian. Before the amulets were molded, the ingredients were prayed over in a special ceremony led by 100 monks and novices in Udon Thani Province, lasting through the night.

Afterward, the amulets were brought to Luang Pu Plian himself, who continued to bless them for an entire trimester. Two designs were created: large iron-shaped molds and small iron-shaped molds, available in four colors—green, black, yellow, and red.

Legacy of Luang Pu Plian

Luang Pu Plian Panyapatipo passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 15, 2018, at 3:03 p.m. at the age of 84, after 59 years of monkhood. His royal cremation ceremony was held on Saturday, February 16, 2019, at Wat Aranyawiwek in Mae Taeng District, Chiang Mai Province.

This first edition of Sak Sri powder amulets stands as a powerful symbol of faith, blending sacred relics, spiritual blessings, and the enduring legacy of Luang Pu Plian.
