Luang Phor Lum of Wat Samakeetham

Luang Phor Lum of Wat Samakeetham

Luang Phor Lum of Wat Samakeetham (Ladprao 64) is a highly revered monk known for his mastery of ancient Thai magic, or Wiccha, particularly in creating powerful amulets and talismans for protection, wealth, and success.

His mystical items are sought after for their potent blessings, rooted in ancient traditions passed down through generations of Thailand’s spiritual masters.

The Tarkrut Dainam (Flying Tarkrut)

One of Luang Phor Lum’s most famous creations is the Tarkrut Dainam, also known as the "Flying Tarkrut." This talisman was made using the rare and powerful Wiccha (magic) of Luang Phor Suk of Wat Makamtao, a legendary monk known for his spiritual prowess.

In an extraordinary display of ritual precision, Luang Phor Lum inscribed each Tarkrut with sacred incantations underwater in a paddy field, a method believed to intensify its power.

The process of writing these amulets underwater is a rare skill, and it links the talisman to the deep energy of the earth and water elements, providing the wearer with both grounding and fluidity in life.

During the consecration ceremony, something incredible happened the Tarkruts began to jump out of the tray by themselves, which gave them their nickname, "Flying Tarkruts."

This supernatural occurrence was seen as a sign of the Tarkruts’ immense power, blessed by Luang Phor Lum and imbued with ancient spiritual energy.

The Tarkrut Dainam is primarily known for its blessings of wealth and Metta (loving-kindness and charm). Those who carry it report increased success in business and smoother interactions with others.

The energy of Metta makes the wearer more likable and attracts positive relationships, which is crucial in building connections and fostering goodwill, especially in business ventures.

When I first started my career in photography, I carried one of these Tarkruts, and I immediately noticed a shift. Contracts and job offers began to come in steadily, even when I was just starting out and had little experience.

The Tarkrut helped open doors and provided opportunities that I believe would have been much harder to come by otherwise. Its blessings for success and wealth are subtle yet powerful, aligning opportunities for the wearer in unexpected ways.

Prah Kring Fabuat (The Prah Kring of a Thousand Masters)

Another extraordinary creation by Luang Phor Lum is the Prah Kring Fabuat. This Prah Kring is unique because it was made by melting and molding his lifetime collection of Tarkruts gathered from over 1000 masters into the amulet.

The accumulated energy of these Tarkruts, each originally blessed by a powerful master, imbues the Prah Kring with a dense concentration of spiritual power.

But that’s not all. Beneath the amulet lies an additional layer of power, it was further enhanced with the sacred powders of 1000 masters, stuffed into the base before being sealed with temple candle wax and a lock of Luang Phor Lum’s own hair relics.

This combination of materials and blessings makes the Prah Kring Fabuat one of the most potent spiritual items for wealth, protection, and overall fortune.

Amulets made from Fabuat (a monk’s alms bowl) are considered highly auspicious due to the deep symbolism of the alms bowl itself. In Thai culture, monks receive offerings in their Fabuat during their daily alms rounds, and it is a sacred act for laypeople to give.

Since no one rejects giving to a monk’s alms bowl, which represents the purity of generosity and the act of receiving blessings.

This connection makes amulets crafted from Fabuat especially powerful, as they embody the idea that whatever you wish for will be granted. Just as a monk’s alms bowl never goes empty, these amulets attract abundance, wealth, and fulfilled desires for their wearer.

The Took Gae (Gecko Amulets)

Luang Phor Lum is also renowned for his highly effective Took Gae (Gecko) amulets, which are known for their ability to fetch wealth and draw business opportunities to their owner.

In Thai occult belief, the gecko is a symbol of luck, wealth, and prosperity. Its ability to cling and adapt to any surface reflects its supernatural capacity to attract fortune and hold onto it, making it a powerful charm for business owners, salespeople, and entrepreneurs.

These amulets are especially favored by those who want to attract a constant flow of income or clients, as the gecko’s symbolic nature is linked to sticking to opportunities and ensuring a steady stream of prosperity.

Luang Phor Lum’s Took Gae amulets have been reported to help people in retail, sales, and other businesses significantly increase their wealth and success by attracting new opportunities and customers.

Back in 2004, the prices for these sacred items at the temple were incredibly affordable just 359 Thai Baht for a Tarkrut Dainam and 500 Baht for the Prah Kring Fabuat (As seen in the photo).

However, due to their rarity and efficacy, these prices have risen dramatically over the years as demand for Luang Phor Lum’s amulets has grown. Today, collectors and devotees consider these amulets to be priceless treasures, not only for their spiritual significance but for their proven ability to bring success, wealth, and protection to those who carry them.

Each of these items whether it’s the Flying Tarkrut, Prah Kring Fabuat, or Took Gae amulet embodies the remarkable power of Luang Phor Lum's Wiccha, providing wearers with life-altering blessings and a deep connection to the ancient spiritual energy of Thailand's most revered masters.
